North Texas Regional and it's employees are accredited by the American Board for Certification (“ABC”). The ABC grants accreditation when a facility and certified employees are specifically educated and clinically trained to manage the provision of comprehensive Orthotics and Prosthetic care, based upon a clinical assessment and a physician's prescription, to restore physiological function and/or cosmesis.

The orthotics division of North Texas Regional of O&P specializes in customized bracing and innovative design. We strive to fit every patient we meet, no matter how challenging their pathology or physique. We are continuously researching the latest ideas, technology, and design to manufacture and deliver the best orthotic devices available.
The prosthetics division of North Texas Regional O&P is well known for the attention to detail and exceptional care we offer every prosthetic patient. We will work with your physician and therapist to have every detail managed in your prosthetic care. We will push you to reach your goals and exceed them through top of the line prosthetic devices, therapy and one on one commitment to success. North Texas Regional goes above and beyond to make our pediatric patients feel welcomed! We even have a room outfitted just for them! We know making orthotic and prosthetic devices for children is totally different than making the same items for an adult. The abilities of the orthotist or prosthetist are challenged in completely different ways. The clinicians at North Texas Regional Orthotics and Prosthetics are educated and experienced in dealing with these challenges. From our practioner's experience at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children we know what type of devices will work best for each child. Knowing each child is different our custom braces will be fit to meet each child's specific needs. Each device is designed to support the active child. Our specialties and products allow for care of children with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, scoliosis, multiple sclerosis - and many other diagnosis.
Regularly scheduled follow-up appointments are also an important factor. They allow us to keep up with needed monitoring of the child's growth and development and changes needed in their care.
At North Texas Regional we understand the importance of proper foot care. We make sure you have a custom fit of your diabetic footwear to your feet. Many patients are unaware of what a proper fit entails, it is very different than your everyday footwear, in patients who have diabetes. Shoes not fit correctly can cause more issues with the patients feet in creating more ulcers and/or hot spots on the patients feet creating more issues of concern.
